I will honestly say that I first heard of this destination because I was invited to a wedding here. As this was my first time in India, I didn’t know what to expect, but I was definitely not disappointed.

If you’ve done a bit of research about the area, you’ve probably seen the picture I posted above of a little church on a teeny tiny island.
This church is called the Church Of The Mother Of God and can be reached only by boat. Why am I telling you this? When you stay at Grand Hotel Toplice, you can rent a boat for free and row to visit the church and the rest of the lake. It’s a unique way to experience the local scenery.
