I have promised to always do what’s best for Arendelle. Thankfully, I know just what that is.

World of Frozen Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris got a whole lot frostier when World of Frozen officially opened in April 2026 as part of the long-awaited Disney Adventure World expansion.

As someone who loves Frozen, I didn't need much convincing to visit. In fact, I booked a trip just two weeks after opening because I was excited to see Disneyland Paris finally get its first major new ride in years. And of course, I couldn't resist booking a table at The Regal View Restaurant while I was there. After seeing countless TikToks about four-hour queues and opening-day crowds, I wasn't entirely sure what the experience would be like. I'll admit, it made me a little nervous.

Having now explored Arendelle for myself, I can happily report that it's more than just hype. Whether you're planning your first Disneyland Paris trip or you're a regular visitor curious about the expansion, here's everything you need to know before visiting World of Frozen, including the attractions, restaurants, waiting times, whether you should book Premier Access, and a few tips to help you make the most of your day in Arendelle.

In this Guide:

If you're planning your first Disneyland Paris trip, I also put together a guide with everything you need to know, including where to stay, how many days you need, and a few practical tips for making the most of your visit.

The gates to Arendelle are officially open, so let's step inside. Here's everything you need to know before visiting World of Frozen at Disneyland Paris:

What to expect from World of Frozen?

One of the things that surprised me most about World of Frozen is how much it changes the overall layout of Disney Adventure World. If you've visited Disneyland Paris before, you'll probably remember that there wasn't much beyond the Tower of Terror. Now, instead of reaching a dead end, you can continue walking towards Adventure Bay, the huge lake at the heart of the park's expansion. The walk itself is part of the experience. Along the way, you'll pass the new Tangled-themed attraction and The Regal View Restaurant before eventually arriving in Arendelle.

One thing worth keeping in mind is that Arendelle sits at the very back of Disney Adventure World. If you're staying at a hotel such as Newport Bay Club, Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, or even the Disneyland Hotel, you'll first need to make your way to the parks before walking through Disney Adventure World to reach World of Frozen. It's not a problem, but the walking time can add up quicker than you might expect.

I'll be honest: Arendelle felt a little smaller than I expected. After years of seeing concept art and construction updates, I had imagined a larger village. That said, what it lacks in size, it makes up for in atmosphere. The colorful buildings, wooden details, and mountain backdrop make it feel surprisingly cozy.

While Arendelle is inspired by Norway, parts of the village actually reminded me of Colmar in France. Maybe it's the colorful facades and storybook feel, but there were moments where it felt less like a theme park land and more like a place you wanted to wander around for a while.

Another thing I really liked is how the expansion connects different parts of the park. Rather than being a standalone area, World of Frozen genuinely feels like part of Disney Adventure World. You can now walk all the way around Adventure Bay and continue into Toy Story Playland from the opposite side, making the entire park feel much more open and connected than before.

Even if you're not planning to ride Frozen Ever After straight away, I'd recommend taking some time to explore the village itself. There are a few hidden details everywhere, so don't rush through it too quickly. Look up at the buildings, peek into the windows, and take your time spotting the easter eggs.

Frozen Ever After: The Main Attraction

Frozen Ever After Attraction Disneyland Paris

Let's start with the main reason most people are visiting Arendelle: Frozen Ever After.

The entrance alone is beautiful and one of my favorite parts of the attraction. Disney has done a great job with the queue, too, so even if you're waiting for a while, there's plenty to look at along the way. The ride itself is a family-friendly boat ride that takes you through the story of Frozen. Without giving too much away, you'll come across all the familiar characters from the movies, including Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven.

One thing I didn't realize before riding is that there is a small drop. It's really not much, but it's worth mentioning if you're visiting with younger children or anyone who gets nervous on rides. Personally, I thought it was very tame.

It's also not a particularly long attraction, but I still really enjoyed it. The music, characters, and scenery make it feel like a classic Disney dark ride, and it's one of those attractions that leaves you with a smile on your face when you step off. One final tip: there's an on-ride photo, so this is your reminder not to forget to smile.

Wait Times & Premier Access

Frozen Ever After Entrance

I'll admit that before my visit, I panicked a little.

I visited World of Frozen just two weeks after opening, and my TikTok feed was full of videos showing waiting times of well over two hours — even of guests having to wait in line to enter the land itself. After seeing enough of those videos, I decided not to take any chances.

My original plan was to purchase Premier Access just for Frozen Ever After. However, that wasn't made available yet at that time, so I ended up booking Premier Access Ultimate instead. It wasn't cheap, but I wanted to be absolutely certain I wouldn't spend half my day standing in line.

The good news is that you can now purchase Premier Access for Frozen Ever After separately. Personally, I'd recommend doing that if you don't want to spend more than an hour waiting in line. Prices vary depending on how busy the park is, but expect to pay roughly €10–€17 per person.

If you'd rather skip the queues throughout the park, there's also Premier Access Ultimate. Prices vary by day and season, but generally start around €120 and can go up to €200 per person.

I don't normally buy the full-day pass, but I have to admit I really enjoyed having it. The biggest advantage is the flexibility. Instead of worrying about return times or waiting in standby queues, you can simply walk onto participating attractions throughout the day. It's definitely a splurge, but if you're visiting during a particularly busy period and it's within your budget, it's a nice luxury to have.

Where to Eat in Arendelle

One of the biggest changes that came with the Disney Adventure World expansion is the number of new food options. From food stalls and quick-service locations to the new table-service restaurant, The Regal View Restaurant, there's now far more choice than there used to be in this part of the park.

One thing I particularly liked is that the menu options go beyond the usual theme park fast food. While you'll still find familiar favorites, there are also lighter options such as salmon, meatballs, salads, and quinoa bowls. If you've ever found yourself craving something other than burgers and fries after a few days in the parks, you'll appreciate the extra variety.

Another fun addition is the World of Frozen champagne glass. You'll find it at one of the kiosks on the way to Adventure Bay near the Tower of Terror. You can either purchase the souvenir glass on its own or order it with a glass of champagne. Is it necessary? Absolutely not. Did I buy one anyway? Of course.

It's a fun souvenir and, if you're celebrating a special occasion — or simply want to make your Disney day feel a little more festive — it's a nice way to add a bit of sparkle to your visit.

Overall, I think the extra food and drink options are one of the most underrated parts of the expansion. Beyond the new attractions, they make Disney Adventure World feel much more like a place where you can walk around, grab a drink, and spend a few hours exploring.

The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge

If you're looking for a sit-down meal in World of Frozen, The Regal View Restaurant is the main restaurant in Arendelle.

It's one of the newest additions to the more upscale dining options at Disneyland Paris and offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I visited for lunch and, while I wasn't sure what to expect, it ended up being one of my favorite meals of the trip.

What I liked most is that it doesn't feel like your typical theme park restaurant. The dining room overlooks Adventure Bay and Arendelle, and the menu offers a mix of dishes inspired by Disney stories. For me, it was easily one of the better food experiences I've had at Disneyland Paris.

There's also a lounge if you'd rather stop by for a drink than sit down for a full meal. This is also where you can pick up the silver champagne flute if you're trying to collect all of the Disneyland Paris souvenir champagne glasses.

If you're interested in trying one of the more upscale dining experiences at Disneyland Paris, I'd definitely consider adding The Regal View to your itinerary. Want to know more? I shared my full experience, including the food, atmosphere, prices, and whether I think it's worth booking, in my full Regal View Restaurant review.

Things to Do in Arendelle

World of Frozen Parade Show Disneyland

While Frozen Ever After is the main attraction, there are a few other things worth checking out while you're in Arendelle.

Throughout the day, you'll find entertainment taking place around the village and Adventure Bay. I'd recommend checking the Disneyland Paris app before your visit to see what's happening, as show times can vary throughout the day.

You can also meet Anna, Elsa, and Olaf. Just keep in mind that these are some of the most popular character experiences in the park, so the lines can get long. If you're visiting with younger children, there are also face painting and hair braiding stations. Again, it's worth checking the app ahead of time if this is something you're interested in, as the waiting times can quickly add up.

If you're a Frozen fan, make sure to pop into the shops before you leave. I spotted a few items that I hadn't seen anywhere else in Disneyland Paris, including Olaf Christmas ornaments, sweaters, clocks, and other World of Frozen merchandise.

Personally, one of my favorite things to do was simply walk around and take it all in. Between the views across Adventure Bay, the little details hidden throughout the village, and the atmosphere Disney has created, it's worth spending some time exploring rather than heading straight for the ride and leaving again.

Practical Tips for Your Visit

Practical tips for disneyland paris world of frozen

  • Use Extra Magic Time if you're staying at a Disney hotel. If you're visiting on a weekend — especially a Saturday — I'd head straight to Frozen Ever After during Extra Magic Time. It's one of the most popular attractions in the park at the moment.

  • Check the Disneyland Paris app before your visit. You'll find current waiting times, show schedules, character appearances, and opening hours all in one place.

  • Consider Premier Access if you're visiting during a busy period. While it's definitely an extra expense, it can save a significant amount of time if waiting in line isn't how you want to spend your day.

  • Take time to explore the village. It sounds obvious, but there are so many little details hidden throughout Arendelle that it's worth slowing down rather than rushing from attraction to attraction.

  • Book restaurants in advance. If you're hoping to dine at The Regal View Restaurant, I'd recommend making a reservation as early as possible, especially for lunch and dinner.

I hope this was helpful. If you have any more questions, feel free to reach out here or on Instagram, and I’m more than happy to answer them. I wish you a magical experience at Disneyland Paris!
